Description:
The phone paging configuration uses a USB telephony device that uses a standard analog phone line to call phone based paging systems, such as the Bogen PCM-2000. BellCommander can then play any WAV audio file over the phone line for school bells, chimes, factory horns, announcements, and even music.
The configuration also supports sending DTMF tones to select a zone. Users can easily define “zones” and their corresponding DTMF tones and program schedules for each zone. Depending on the version purchased, BellCommander can support paging to more than 100 zones. The software can also work with multiple telephony devices, so one telephony device could call a paging system in one building and another telephony device could call a paging system in another building.

Pricing:
Pricing depends on the number of zones and telephony devices. The BellCommander Analog Phone Paging software is $299.95 for a single zone or $499.95 for up to 10 zones. The Way2Call Desktop USB Lite device from Way2Call Communications (https://www.way2call.com), currently priced at $449+shipping is typically used with this configuration.
