Description: The patent-pending network audio configuration can use 70 volt paging amplifiers and speakers to create an efficient and low-cost multi-zone system for scheduled audio for school bells, factory bells, store-front announcements, medical applications, music distribution, and more.
In the 70 volt paging amplifier configuration, each paging zone is connected to a seperate 70 volt paging amplifier. The paging amplifier drives speakers which contain matching 70-volt transformers. Each paging amplifier is connected to a single Barix Exstreamer 100 network audio device. The BellCommander software sends audio to selected Barix Exstreamer 100 device(s) at scheduled times which in turn play to the amplifiers and speakers connected to the devices. Since each Exstreamer 100 can be programmed with a unique schedule, each zone can be set with a different bell schedules and pages can be targeted to specific zones.
