Wednesday, August 14th, 2002

Austin, TX – August 14, 2002 – AcroVista Software, an independent developer of innovative automation and Internet applications, announces the release of two new Windows applications, AlarmWiz 2.0 and BellWiz.

AlarmWiz, a powerful scheduling utility, gained industry acclaim in its first release for its intuitive interface which allows users to quickly and visually set reminders and automate I/T tasks.  At its simplest, users can quickly set reminders with audio from .wav, .mp3, or CD sources to remind them of important appointments.  The program also boasts advanced features including the ability to send scheduled emails and email pages, to launch programs, and to script FTP transfers for common tasks such as uploading files to a web server.

AlarmWiz features an innovative scheduler which allows alarms to be scheduled at a wide variety of intervals including hourly, daily, weekly, and monthly scheduling, as well as more flexible scheduling such as the second Friday of each month.

AlarmWiz has received top ratings and reviews from popular Internet sites including Tucows highest 5 Cows Rating, RocketDownload’s 5/5 rating, and FileTransfer.com’s 5/5 rating.  AlarmWiz is available for $24.95 and discounts are available for multiple license purchases.

As an extension to AlarmWiz, AcroVista Software developed BellWiz, a new application which plays .wav and .mp3 audio at scheduled times for public address systems.  The program is ideally suited for school bells, factory shift change sounds, and scheduled audio announcements such as daily store closing announcements.

BellWiz features an advanced scheduler and includes the ability to define holidays and time periods when bells should not activate.  The program features an easy-to-use wizard-based interface which guides users through the steps of creating bells.  BellWiz is available for $34.95 for a single license and volume discounts are given starting with the second license purchased.

AlarmWiz and BellWiz are both designed to run under Windows 95/98/Me/NT4/2000/XP.  Free, fully-functional trial versions of AlarmWiz and BellWiz are available for download at the AcroVista Software website at http://www.acrovista.com.
